The Ronquières inclined plane (on the left) is located on the Charleroi-Bruxelles canal (on the right) and it compensates for a 70 metres drop. Thanks to it, it’s possible to take both narrow and heavy boats between the higher and the lower level of the inclined plane. A stunning panorama can be seen from the top of this 150 metres tower.
