I just came back from Italy, where I had the chance to participate to a conference organized by the International Association for the History of Transport, Traffic and Mobility, and the Centre for Advanced Studies in Mobilities & Humanities.
The event took place at the University of Padoua.
I presented the results from my PhD research in the session dedicated to tourist skills. It was a great opportunity to talk about an interesting topic in front of interested people.
I was based in Venice (first pic), where I studied tourism at the University many years ago. It was nice to meet friends and enjoy the second most beautiful city in the world, after Brussels. 🙂
The conference was organized in Padoua, where I had the chance to visit the spectacular Scrovegni Chapel (second pic). In the third pic you can see my name in between the other presentations.
Today I’m leaving for a new adventure in the Netherlands!

Heeey! iImpressed! Congrats.
