He was born in Ghent on the 24th of February 1500.For this occasion I made this collage with three representations of this iconic historical character: the statue located in Pinsenhofplein in Ghent (on the left), a painting by Albrecht De Vriendt at the Groeninge Museum in Bruges (top right) and the bronze statue in the main facade of “La Maison du Roi/Het Broodhuis” at the Grand-Place of Brussels (bottom right).
