The Fin de Siècle museum has plenty of remarkable examples of Belgian Symbolism.
In the picture, one of the most famous creations of Fernand Khnopff, “The caresses”. An androgynous being in contraposition with a Sphinx, surrounded by a mysterious  landscape.
