This industrial locomotive was installed in Place des Amateurs (Brussels) in 2011 for a symbolic purpose: the 175th anniversary of a special occasion. Not far away from here, on the 5th of May 1835, the first passenger line in western Europe, connecting Brussels to Mechelen, was inaugurated.
