Last week I went to Ostend to visit the exhibition “JAMES ENSOR – Rêves de nacre” at the Mu.ZEE. I also had the chance to take a winter walk on the beach. Ensor used to depict the Belgian coast in his paintings.  In front of these painted landscapes it’s impossible not think about the sea breeze and the bright lights of the Ostend beach.
