This is a picture (taken in the botanical garden of Leuven) of the statue of Rembert Dodoens, a Flemish physician and botanist. In the other picture (taken in the Rockoxhuis in Antwerp) you have also his book, “Stirpium historiae pemptades sex” . This is considered one of the most important botanical works of the late 16th century.
